E4402 Trial For Low Tumor Burden Indolent Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma

This is a randomized Phase III study for people who have low tumor burden indolent Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma.

The purpose of the study is to test whether it is better to continue to continue giving Rituximab after initial treatment as a maintenance therapy or to wait until disease progression and then retreat with the drug at that time.

Patients participating in this study will be randomized into two groups:

• Patients in group one will receive their initial treatment with Rituximab and then be observed

• Patients in group two will receive their initial treatment with Rituximab and then will receive Rituximab every four weeks as long as their disease does not progress or recur

Patients wil be followed for up to fifteen years to determine the long term effects of the treatments given as part of this study.
